Bring the looks you love into your own work.
Only upload photos you have rights to. GrainLab doesn’t store photos on its servers. This browser keeps resized copies for drafts and saved looks.
How it works
Drop a photo you want to match, anything you’ve saved to Pinterest, an Instagram grab, a frame from a film. We read its tones, its color moves, the way it handles highlights and shadows. Then we read your photo and write a preset that moves your photo toward that style.
Download the XMP file, then use Import Presets in Lightroom. In Lightroom Classic, open Develop → Presets → + → Import Presets. The browser preview is approximate. Check the result on your photo in Lightroom and adjust it to suit your lighting.
Questions
Does this work with Lightroom Mobile?
Lightroom Mobile supports XMP import. Open a photo in Edit, then choose Presets → Yours → Options → Import Presets and select the downloaded file. See our import guide for the steps on each platform.
What if the preview doesn't match what I see in Lightroom?
The browser preview approximates the settings. Lightroom's rendering, your camera profile, and the source photo can change the result. Import the XMP and use it as an editable starting point.
Do you keep my photos?
GrainLab sends both resized photos to OpenAI for analysis and does not save them on its application server. Your browser keeps resized copies and settings for draft restore and any looks you save to your library. Delete saved entries or clear site data to remove them from this browser.
